AMC Polish Arsenal advances a 155 mm ammunition propellant-charge project
A letter of intent opens the assessment stage for a planned production complex in the Świętokrzyskie region. No binding investment decision has yet been made.
PRIME ASI and AMC Polish Arsenal signed a letter of intent concerning an extension of their cooperation to prepare a production complex for propellant charges used in 155 mm artillery ammunition. The document sets a framework for assessment and negotiations. It does not oblige PRIME ASI to invest or provide financing.

Extending the 155 mm ammunition ecosystem
The planned project is intended to complement the large-calibre ammunition ecosystem being developed by AMC Polish Arsenal. The propellant-charge complex is expected to be operationally coordinated with the project to launch 155 mm ammunition production in Słupia Konecka.
Preliminary assumptions cover lines for White Bag and Red Bag charges, modular MCS charges and combustible cartridge cases. These remain project assumptions subject to further technical, financial and regulatory verification.
Planned scale, not a guarantee
The complex's preliminary target capacity is approximately 500,000 charges per year, while total project expenditure is initially estimated at approximately EUR 20 million. Both figures are indicative and remain subject to a detailed budget, schedule and financial model.
The EUR 20 million figure is not a commitment by PRIME ASI to finance that amount. The form, amount and timing of any potential involvement have not been determined.
Integrated production and data
Potential integration may include production planning, logistics, inventory and supply management, quality control and production reporting.
The parties are also considering an industrial management system using artificial-intelligence solutions. This is a project direction, not a statement that such a system is already operational.
Documentation and due diligence first
AMC Polish Arsenal is expected to provide the first complete package of business assumptions and documents within 30 days of signing the letter. The package is intended to cover technology, financing, real estate, permits, supply chains, prospective customers and project risks, among other matters.
Any binding PRIME ASI decision will depend, among other factors, on analysis and due diligence, confirmation of technology rights, risk assessment, agreed financing terms and the required corporate approvals.
